Damageplan is the better half of Pantera in their new band. Musically, the CD is exactly what you would expect from Vinnie Paul & Dimebag Darrell. The new vocalist has a variety of sounds. Some tracks sound like Corey Taylor from Slipknot is doing the vocals, while others sound like Phil Anselmo has rose from the dead and rejoined the Cowboys from Hell. I say "rose from the dead" because I heard an interview with him. The guy sounds dead, or at least like he's well on his way. I was watching the Pantera Videos DVD last night and came to the conclusion that Phil has gone a long way down hill since his days with Pantera.
