That's it. I'm not buying any more software from companies that put that activation bullshit in it. That means you, Microsoft and Macromedia. That's twice this week I've had to waste my time on the phone because they won't let me activate MY software more than twice. I have TWO computers. A desktop, which I built, and a laptop, a Dell 5150. It would have been much less tedious to just crack the software than to sit on the phone and type in a hundred numbers or say 200 letters and numbers to some Indian who stole one of our jobs. One thing that was pretty dumb about Macromedia's activation was that Dreamweaver was telling me that it couldn't connect to the internet while Flash was telling me I had already activated more than the set number of times. What way to make it harder for the people who do pay for software will they come up with next. All I would have had to do is replace a couple of files to crack the Macromedia software. I guess I'll just crack my legitimate software from now on. It's like they want the software to be disposible or something. If that's the case, they better rethink their pricing. A consumer paying $1000 for a suite of applications they aren't even going to make any money off of is just retarded. I guess the retardation sets in around the age of 23...
No more software activation
