Sadly, I hadn't heard Dream Theater sooner. With this latest release, they have completely recruited me as a fan. There 7 track masterpiece contains some of the most intricate guitar-work I have heard. This album is everything I could ask for in a rock CD. But, like Megadeth, the vocals took a little time to get used to (I'm used to Pantera, Metallica and the like). This CD rocks. It's heavy enough for me and also contains unsurpassed musical quality. On the last track, "In the Name of God", John Petrucci showcases an amazing solo in which you wonder "how in the hell does he do that?" throughout it.
